Each pass lasts for only the required number of days, so it's a good idea to make sure you start using the pass early in the morning of your first day, and plan to visit all of the museums within the time allowed on your pass, for example a 4 day pass is valid for 4 days only, if a public holiday falls within the 4 days, you'll lose a day.

Despite this, the pass could save you quite a considerable amount of money compared to paying separately for each museum. If you travel as a family, the great news is that children under 18 get into most museums free, so only adults need worry about purchasing the Paris Museum Pass.
